Douglas Alexander, CISSP, serves as the Director of the Institute for Cybersecurity and Emerging Technologies at Rhode Island College, where he spearheads cybersecurity and artificial intelligence education initiatives. With advanced degrees from Princeton University and the Rochester Institute of Technology, Mr. Alexander brings over 27 years of experience in technology and cybersecurity to his role. Throughout his career, he has held key leadership positions across various sectors, including K-12 educational technology, community broadband, and systems engineering. In his current capacity, he is dedicated to enhancing the cybersecurity capabilities of Rhode Island's workforce, fostering innovation and resilience in the field.
