Connecting for Children and Families - Make Tracks for Kids Virtual 5K

6/15/2021 - 6/30/2021

Description

Connecting for Children and Families (CCF) will hold its annual Make Tracks for Kids 5K virtually this year. The new virtual format is free and open to all ages and can be run or walked as a team or individual. This change extends the event from a single day race to a multi-week challenge. Participants have the choice of running a full 5K, a 1K fun run, or “as far as you can.”  Each will receive a personalized run page to track and share their distance and request friends and family to support the charity.

CCF is a community-based, non-profit organization that envisions Woonsocket as a city where every child gets the best start in life and grows into his or her full potential. The organization mission is to transform the lives of Woonsocket children through high quality educational programs and family support.

Participation in the virtual 5K is free, and those who would like to help support CCF’s mission can fundraise on their behalf. Incentives for fundraising include gift baskets, CCF merchandise, and more!

This event has been made possible by the generosity of presenting sponsor Amica Insurance, as well as Cox Communications, CVS Health, Navigant Credit Union, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Landmark Medical Center/Prime Healthcare, and many other faithful supporters of CCF’s important work in the community.
