Dawn Apajee
Dawn Apajee is an accomplished recruitment professional with more than 30 years of experience spanning both the UK and the United States.
In 2006, Dawn founded City Personnel with a clear and purposeful mission: to connect exceptional talent with organizations across Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts. Drawing on three decades of industry experience, she leads a team of professional recruiters who share her commitment to building trusted, long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.
Under Dawn’s leadership, City Personnel has become a respected and values-driven staffing firm, recognized not only for business excellence but also for its commitment to inclusion. Colin McLaughlin
Colin grew up in Plymouth, MA and graduated from Plymouth South High in
2009. He has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Bridgewater State
University and a master's degree in business administration with a concentration
in IT Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
Colin currently lives in Riverside, RI with his wife and corgi. He is a U.S. Army
veteran who now works as a financial professional, focusing on assisting people,
including fellow veterans and their families, with financial planning.
Leveraging experience in leadership, discipline, and service gained during his
military career, Colin applies a mission-focused approach to his work. His
background integrates leadership skills, technical knowledge, and a commitment
to client service.
In managing technology projects or advising clients on retirement and insurance
planning, he uses integrity, discipline, and a consultative style.

Josh Vanada
Josh Vanada is a leadership and business growth coach, who lives out his calling of inspiring, equipping, and leading other human beings to be fully alive.
Previously, Josh has spent his entire career working in the automotive industry. Prior to starting his coaching practice, he was the Platform General Manager of Hurd Auto Mall, a Chevrolet, Buick and GMC dealer located in Johnston, RI - one of Rhode Island’s largest auto dealers. Prior to that, he served as General Manager of Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park - a multi-use venue located in Thompson, CT. Throughout his career, he has blended his passion for automobiles with his love for the game of business. His career has been anchored by his ability to build high-performing teams through strong culture and open-book management.
Josh earned a B.A. from Gordon College (MA).
In his spare time, Josh serves on several non-profit boards. He is an avid cyclist and enjoys playing golf in his spare time.
Josh lives in Attleboro, MA with his wife, Ashleigh, and their son.
